Based in Caen at the company's head office, in contact with the CCO and the Operations Manager, the RDOS will be required to travel regularly to the company's various ports of call: BES, ORY, LIG,LYS, AUR, DCM, ...
Job Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the AOC holder's concept of ground operations.
- Knowledge and experience in piloting stopovers.
- Comply with and master regulatory requirements for ground operations.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure that ground operations are conducted in accordance with the conditions and restrictions of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and in compliance with the applicable regulations and standards of Chalair Aviation and other applicable authorities.
- Ensure the proper management of security risks and threats to the safety of ground operations in its area.
- Organization, safety and security of ground operations
- Deployment and promotion of the company's safety, compliance and security policy
- Assume authority and responsibility for the management and supervision of functions and activities within ground operations.
- Implementing the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the operating procedures described in the Operations Manual.
- Ground handling activities: relations with airports and subcontractors, assistance for aircraft, passengers, baggage and changeovers during their pre-flight and post-flight ground handling.
- Interface with ground services during stopovers
- Endowment of ports of call
- Design and update of the GOM and relevant extracts from Parts A, B and C of the Operations Manual in coordination with sales and RDOV.
- Define and implement a training plan for the department to ensure that DOS members acquire and maintain their skills.
- Carrying out internal audits in line with its areas of expertise
- Carrying out operational checks on all the company's ports of call
- Corrective and preventive actions resulting from monitoring by the compliance system.
- Implement corrective actions adapted to the recommendations issued by the Management System
- Control of subcontractors and suppliers in the relevant business area
- Reporting and notification of any event relating to its area of responsibility that may or has an impact on safety
- Monitor ground operations indicators.
