How long before my flight do I need to check in at the airport?

The Check-in Deadline (CDT) is 30 minutes before the departure of our flights.

However, please take into account the waiting time at the check-in counter and the various inspection filters.

What documents do I need to travel?

You must present a valid identity document (ID card or passport) at check-in, including for children and babies.

Please note that the livret de famille is not an identity document and cannot be used for travel, even within metropolitan France.

Online registration

From 48 hours before your flight's departure, save time with online check-in and get your boarding pass on our dedicated https://iport.travelport.com/ici/ce/fr page.

However, online check-in is not yet available from Limoges.

What kind of service do you offer on board?

A snack is offered on board all our flights.

Please note that our flights operated by Beechcraft 1900D (19 seats) are not equipped with toilets.

Can I bring my own luggage?

In the hold: The number of baggage items you can transport free of charge in the hold depends on your ticket type. This information is available at booking and is indicated on your ticket.

In the cabin: One piece of baggage per person, with a maximum overall dimension of 115 cm and a maximum weight of 6 kg on flights operated by Beechcraft 1900D. (NB: maximum authorized weight of 10 kg on our ATR-operated flights).

However, for reasons of comfort, this baggage will usually be placed in the hold when you board the aircraft, and returned when you leave (a green "Cabin Baggage" label will be affixed to your baggage).

What are the conditions of carriage for special baggage?

- Sports equipment: golf bags, diving or skiing equipment and fishing gear are considered standard baggage as long as they comply with the weight and dimensions of hold baggage.

- Surf/kite: The supplement is €60 per trip. Board length must not exceed 160cm,

- Bicycle: On our ATR aircraft, you can travel with a bicycle. This service is subject to quota and is charged at €60 per journey.

As this luggage is subject to quota, you must request it directly via our CONTACT form.

Do you offer the UM (unaccompanied minors) service?

The UM service is offered for children aged 4 to 11 on routes served by ATR 42 and ATR 72 and is subject to availability.

Once the service has been validated, you'll need to fill in this this UM form form, giving the details (name, address, cell phone number) of the adult accompanying the child to the airport of departure and the adult collecting the child from the airport of arrival. The child must travel with a valid identity document (identity card or passport).

What are the transport conditions for minors?

UM service is compulsory for minors aged 4 to 11, unless they are traveling with an adult (18). The maximum number of children per accompanying adult is 2.

Minors aged 12 and over travelling alone must be in possession of an identity document. The company will not take charge of them.

Can we travel with more than one baby on our aircraft?

On our Beechcraft 1900D routes, the number of babies is limited to 1 per flight due to the special seating equipment required.

On our ATR-operated routes, depending on the aircraft type, the number of babies is limited.

Note: All children under 2 years of age must travel in the same seat as the accompanying adult (only one baby per accompanying adult).

How long can I travel during my pregnancy?
Pregnant women are accepted up to 28 weeks of pregnancy without a medical certificate. From 28 to 32 weeks, please complete this medical certificate specifying the stage of pregnancy, state of health and absence of risk of premature delivery (certificate less than 7 days old). Beyond 32 weeks, travel is not authorized on Chalair Aviation flights.
Can I apply for a wheelchair, and under what conditions?

Our company offers assistance to people who have difficulty getting around on their own (PMR).

However, depending on the type of aircraft operating the route and for safety reasons, the acceptance of disabled passengers is subject to agreement with our services.

If your assistance is required following a recent operation or if you are in a cast, please complete this medical certificate (certificate less than 7 days old)

Can I travel with a guide dog?

The number is limited to 1 per flight for safety reasons (at no extra charge).

What do I need to do if I'm hard of hearing?

Hearing-impaired access is subject to agreement with our services.

Can I travel with my pet?

In the cabin: you can carry a single small animal, weighing up to 8 kg, provided it travels in an approved bag.

In the hold: Transporting an animal is subject to agreement with our services on our ATR-operated routes. Please request this via the CONTACT form.

Can I benefit from a loyalty program?

Chalair is a partner of the Air France-KLM Flying Blue frequent flyer program.
