Can I bring my own luggage?

  • Cabin: whatever fare you choose, one piece of cabin baggage is included. Either :

- One bag per person (max. dimensions 55 x 35 x 25cm, including wheels and handles, max. 10kg)

- A handbag or computer bag (max. dimensions 30 x 40 x 15, maximum 2kg)

  • Hold baggage: the number of baggage items you can transport free of charge in the hold depends on your ticket type. This information is available at the time of booking and is indicated on your ticket.

If your fare does not include baggage, you can reserve it up to 3 hours before flight departure for €25. If you purchase it at the airport, it will be charged at €40. A second piece of baggage weighing 23kg is charged at 45€ if booked in advance, or 60€ at the airport.

Maximum dimensions: Length + Width + Height = 158cm. Maximum 23kg.

  • Hors Format:

- If baggage exceeds 23 kg (maximum 32 kg), a supplement of €70 will be charged (payment at the airport).

- If the baggage size (Length + Width + Height) is between 159 cm and 300 cm, a supplement of €40 will be charged (payment at the airport). However, the maximum length may not exceed 160cm.

What are the conditions of carriage for special baggage?

- Sports equipment: golf bags, diving or skiing equipment and fishing gear are considered standard baggage as long as they comply with the weight and dimensions of hold baggage.

- Surf/kite : The supplement is €60 per trip. Board length must not exceed 160cm,

- Bicycle : On our ATR aircraft, you can travel with a bicycle. This service is subject to quota and is charged at €60 per journey.

As this luggage is subject to quota, you must request it directly via our CONTACT form.

Can I take food in my cabin baggage?

You can take solid food in your cabin baggage.

Only liquid foods are limited to a maximum 100ml container, placed in a transparent bag with a maximum capacity of one liter.

What can I take in the cabin for my baby?

In the cabin, you can take food and 100ml of water for your baby in your baggage.

Can I take oversized luggage?

  • Hors Format :

- If baggage exceeds 23 kg (maximum 32 kg), a supplement of €70 will be charged (payment at the airport).

- If the baggage size (Length + Width + Height) is between 159 cm and 300 cm, a supplement of €40 will be charged (payment at the airport). However, the maximum length may not exceed 160cm.

  • Other luggage :

What should I do if my luggage is lost?

Go to the baggage claim service at your destination airport

  • Report it immediately to the baggage claims department at your destination airport. Ask for an irregularity report (PIR) stating that the baggage is missing and specifying your file reference number.
  • Formulate a complaint preferably on the website: chalair.fr/reclamations

Please enclose with your claim :

- TAG number ;

- PIR ;

- Bank details for a euro-denominated account ;

- Proof of expenses incurred.

If you are unable to go to the baggage claim service at your destination airport :

  • Formulate a complaint within 48 hours on the website: chalair.fr/reclamations
