You may carry one small pet in the cabin in a closed, approved carrier. The maximum weight of the pet and its carrier is 8 kg. The dimensions of the carrier must not exceed 115 cm.
Your pet must be at least 15 weeks old and have up-to-date vaccinations.
As the number of animals on board is limited, we recommend that you make arrangements for this when booking your ticket.
Travelling with brachycephalic animals in the cabin:
Brachycephalic animals, such as pugs, bulldogs, boxers, Pekingese, Shih Tzus and Persian cats, may experience breathing difficulties when under stress. Seek advice from your vet before travelling by air.
Please note: your pet’s head must not protrude from the carrier; your pet shop or vet will be able to advise you. Under no circumstances may your pet leave its carrier at any point during the flight.
If your pet, together with its carrier, weighs more than 8 kilos, it must travel in the hold.
Please note: It is currently not possible to carry a pet in the hold on our ATR aircraft.
The following animals are prohibited from travel (both in the cabin and in the hold): Category 1 dogs as defined by the French Ministry of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, namely so-called ‘attack dogs’ that do not belong to any specific breed but are morphologically similar to the following breeds: Staffordshire Terriers (pit bulls), American Staffordshire Terriers (pit bulls), Mastiffs (Bœrbœls) and Tosas.
So-called Category 2 dogs are also not permitted on Chalair flights. The breeds concerned are pedigree Staffordshire Terriers, pedigree American Staffordshire Terriers, pedigree Tosas, and dogs whose physical characteristics are similar to those of Rottweilers, whether or not they have a pedigree.
