Embark from Brest and enjoy a seamless stopover in Quimper
These seasonal flights will take off every Saturday from July 1 to September 2, 2023, departing from Brest at 8 a.m., with a non-stop stopover in Quimper at 8:45. Aboard a 70-seat ATR, passengers will leave Finistère for Ireland in less than an hour, arriving in Kerry at 9.20am.
After a stay in one of Ireland's most attractive and touristic regions, return flights will also take place on Saturday at 9.55am from Kerry, arriving around 12.30pm in Quimper and 1.30pm in Brest.
This new seasonal route is not the only one to offer the prospect of escape from Bretagne. Other destinations are also scheduled for this summer, including flights to Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region.
A positive reception for this seasonal link with Ireland
The management of the airports concerned is delighted with these new routes.
Claude Arphexad, director of Brest airport, comments: "The route to Kerry, a first for Finistère, will enable Bretons to marvel at the landscapes of this magnificent Irish county.
Jean-François Garrec, President of the CCI and Quimper airport, told Breizh Info: "As the development of new air links from Quimper is our priority, it is with great satisfaction that we welcome these two additional routes with Chalair which, in addition to giving us a summer getaway, will put us in direct contact with visitors from Ireland and Béarn.
