Chalair Aviation is a French airline founded in 1986 and based at Caen Carpiquet airport. It currently operates two types of aircraft: the ATR (42/72) and the Beech 1900D.

It specializes mainly in inter-regional airlines, and is also involved in international operations as part of its development.

What you need to know about the job:

Reporting to the Designated Continuing Airworthiness Manager (RDMN), the CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) officer's main objective is to monitor the airworthiness of the fleet.

The CAMO agent will work in Chalair Aviation's maintenance workshop offices at Caen-Carpiquet airport.

Job requirements:

• hold a BAC +2 in AERONAUTICS or equivalent;
• knowledge of regulations applicable to continued airworthiness (PART M / PART CAMO);
• mastery of basic IT tools (Excel, Word, etc.) is required;
• fluency in English (oral and written) is desirable.

Duties and responsibilities:

• update maintenance data based on techlog (CRM);
• issue purchase orders, record and control work files;
• monitoring, updating and applying technical documentation;
• participate in drafting amendments to fleet maintenance programs;
• participate in updating or developing CAMO procedures;
• participate in the implementation of the current reliability program;
• help define and monitor schedules for technical fixed assets;
• report any event relating to its area of responsibility that may have an impact on safety.

To carry out their tasks, CAMO agents must be rigorous, independent and analytical.
