Andy Warhol: Line and Image at the Musée du Luxembourg
From September 16, 2026, to January 10, 2027, the Musée du Luxembourg will showcase a little-known facet of Andy Warhol’s work: his drawings. Approximately 150 drawings spanning his 40-year career are displayed alongside paintings and silkscreen prints. The exhibition is organized into five periods, from his early work in advertising to his depictions of death.
Belmondo, the Magnificent: Great Cinema at the Cinémathèque
From October 7, 2026, to January 31, 2027, the Cinémathèque Française is paying tribute to Jean-Paul Belmondo. Curator Clémentine Deroudille traces his career through approximately 90 films,from *À bout de souffle* (1960) to popular cinema. According to the Cinémathèque’s press release, a 256-page catalog features previously unpublished family archives. A film retrospective accompanies the exhibition.
