Chalair Aviation's Management System is recruiting its future Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management Manager for its Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (Part-M/CAMO) and its Maintenance Organization (Part-145).

Required (mandatory):

The candidate must meet the applicable acceptance criteria of the competent authority, including:

  • Practical experience and a thorough understanding of the application of European aviation standards and regulations,
  • Have completed training and have experience with compliance and safety management systems,
  • Have completed training and have experience conducting audits,
  • Have completed training and have experience in safety investigations and root cause analysis,
  • Fluency in French and English,
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 2 years in the aerospace industry in appropriate positions,
  • Hold a master’s degree (BAC + 5) or a bachelor’s degree (BAC + 3) in a field relevant to aeronautics,
  • Enhanced skills in teaching, communication, and diplomacy,
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and with a high degree of independence.

 

Responsibilities - Compliance Monitoring Manager, Technical Department (Part-CAMO & Part-145):

The Compliance Monitoring Manager is responsible for monitoring compliance with all applicable requirements, standards, and procedures governing aircraft airworthiness management and maintenance at Chalair Aviation. To this end, he or she possesses the qualifications, authority, and independence necessary to perform his or her duties.

The Compliance Monitoring Manager is responsible, within the OGMN and the OE, for:

  • Regarding the implementation of the compliance policy established by the Responsible Officer,
  • Implementing the process for providing feedback to the Responsible Manager to ensure that corrective action is carried out effectively and efficiently following the identification of any findings during compliance monitoring,
  • The establishment and implementation of the compliance monitoring program covering all activities of the OGMN and the OE CLG, as well as their subcontractors and contractors,
  • Communication and coordination with the Designated Officers for compliance and risk management, in conjunction with the Security Management Officer,
  • Communication to all OGMN and OE staff to ensure they have the necessary information regarding the compliance of the organizations,
  • The development and implementation of a training and information program on compliance monitoring for all staff of the OGMN and the OE CLG,
  • On the evolution of documentation directly related to compliance monitoring,
  • To monitor external developments that affect the GMM and the CLG OE, and that are related to compliance monitoring,
  • Implementing the policy for managing subcontractors and contractors, in collaboration with the Safety Manager and the Designated Managers,
  • Coordinating relations with the Authority,
  • Management of findings resulting from the implementation of the internal compliance monitoring program and monitoring by the competent authority,
  • Establishing Management Reviews and Compliance Review Boards (planning, preparation, reporting, and follow-up on actions),
  • Regarding the issuance, renewal, and revocation of authorizations for OGMN and OE personnel,
  • Monitoring the files of all authorized personnel,
  • From the creation and updating of authorizations to their distribution to the relevant parties.

 

Job Responsibilities - Safety Management Manager, Technical Department (Part-CAMO & Part-145):

The Safety Manager is responsible for carrying out all tasks related to safety management within OGMN and OE Chalair Aviation.

The Safety Manager is responsible, within the OGMN and the OE, for:

  • The implementation, coordination, and day-to-day management of the SGS, on behalf of the Program Manager and the Designated Managers,
  • The establishment, implementation, and improvement of safety procedures,
  • Regarding the implementation of the security policy established by the Manager,
  • Implementing a feedback process to the Manager in Charge to ensure that corrective action is carried out effectively and efficiently following the identification of any issues noted in the context of safety management,
  • Management of findings and actions resulting from the implementation of the internal security management program,
  • The development and implementation of a training and information program on safety management for all staff of the OGMN and the OE CLG,
  • On the evolution of documentation directly related to safety management,
  • To monitor external developments that impact the GMM and the CLG OE, and that are related to safety management,
  • Implementing the policy for managing subcontractors and contractors, in collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring Manager and the Designated Managers,
  • Coordinating relations with the Authority,
  • The establishment of Safety Review Boards and Safety Action Groups (planning, preparation, reporting, and follow-up on actions),
  • To facilitate the identification of hazards, risk analysis, and risk management, both internally and externally (third parties, subcontractors, contractors),
  • To ensure the implementation of risk mitigation measures,
  • Provide periodic reports on safety performance,
  • Participate in analyses related to security incidents,
  • Ensure that investigations into incidents and accidents are initiated and followed up on.

 

Status: Executive , permanent contract

Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience
